FedericiwebThe inaugural annual winners of The Football League Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove Awards have been announced today.

Reading’s Adam Federici, Stevenage’s Chris Day and Swindon Town’s Wes Foderingham are the respective winners from the Championship, League 1 and League 2.

The annual Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove award is presented to the goalkeeper that has kept the most clean sheets in their division throughout the season in all competitions.

Wesley Foderingham win webSwindon Town’s Wesley Foderingham has won the Football League Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove Award for April.

 

Foderingham’s five clean sheets from six games in April helped Swindon clinch the League 2 Championship and automatic promotion to League 1.

Kelvin DavisKelvin Davis is celebrating a double following a successful weekend for Southampton in the npower Championship.

Davis, who was in goal for Southampton when they secured a Premier League return, has been named as the winner of the Football League Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove Award for March.
