Precision Goalkeeping’s Andy Lonergan will start the season with Bolton Wanderers after agreeing a three-year contract at the Reebok Stadium.
Lonergan has left Championship side Leeds United, where he played 38 games last season, for an undisclosed fee.
Owen Coyle was keen to add a top class keeper to his newly relegated Bolton squad. He believes Lonergan is the right man to replace Jussi Jaaskelainen who has joined West Ham.
Lonergan said; “This is the perfect move for me and I'm delighted that it has all gone through."
The 28-year-old previously spent more than a decade with Preston, he played 232 games for North End then left for Leeds in 2011.
