Precision Goalkeeping’s latest signing, Ian McLoughlin, has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad.
McLoughlin, currently on loan at Stockport County from Ipswich Town, has been named in the squad for the friendly against Portugal.
The 6’3 keeper joined Stockport on loan in February and made his Football League debut against Cheltenham that month.
McLoughlin will be wearing Precision Goalkeeping’s Roll Finger gloves after signing a new deal with the Nottingham based brand.
He said; “I am delighted to have been selected for the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad.
“The game against Portugal is an important step as we build towards the European Championship Qualifiers in September."
David Sanderson, National Sales Manager of Precision Training, said; “Ian is a superb addition to the Precision Goalkeeping stable.
“He has been getting valuable first team experience at Stockport in the last few months and his selection for the Under 21 squad is a fantastic achievement.”
McLoughlin is the latest addition to the Precision Goalkeeping stable and he joins an impressive list that includes Kasper Schmeichel, Brian Jensen, Keiren Westwood, Robert Olejnik and Trevor Carson.
